My family is a full of fishermen. They live for fly fishing, and spend many free hours trying to catch the biggest fish. I was so thrilled when Tatum designed the Gone Fishing Cutting Collection, and I put them right to good use making gifts for the fishermen in my life. This masculine themed cutting collection features all the pieces of a fisherman’s hobby and will make creating cards and gifts for men a breeze.
For my project today I used the Round Handle Box file from the Craft Room Library and added a cut-out window to the front of it. I then cut a piece of clear transparency to fit inside the box to keep the gummy fish from escaping. For the card, I simply combined several of the files to create a fishing scene. I cut the lake from blue vellum and used the pen tool for the sentiment.
Cards for men are often challenging to design, but the Gone Fishing Cutting Collection gives you a great head start. Make something special for the fisherman (or woman) in your life.
