Mini Albums

MiniBooks

Mini albums are wonderful way to commemorate a special event, topic or someone. They make great gifts and coffee table books too! This week we took our own spin on albums using a design created by our very own Lisa. These little mini albums close shut by themselves using a short flap and slightly resemble a matchbook in shape. These were so much fun to do and we all took very different approaches to the project. Chris went for a Christmas theme and decorated her mini album to look like a present. Inside she filled the pages with Christmas pictures and memories. Amanda made a planner out of her mini album complete with a calendar and notepad. Tatum made a fishing creel out of her mini album and filled it with pictures from a recent fishing excursion. Lisa simply couldn’t settle on one project so she made two! Her clear acrylic album uses vinyl for the embellishments and is all about her boys. She also made a beautiful album about her pets (she has quite a few!). Aren’t the colors beautiful? We hope our projects inspire you to make one too, they would be a treasured gift this holiday! Make sure to check out additional pictures in the Pazzles Albums Pazzles Projects.

    Amanda,

Thanks so much for the ideas!! They would indeed make the best Christmas gifts for friends!

You just gave me an idea for my husband’s office workers….the planner. It would be a nice something little “extra”. These would be nice to make in the style of the recipient with a gift card to a store with the same theme. I could see art paper and supplies for the artist….I know that I would enjoy that. It would be nice to insert art paper for the kids…or…what about paper pieced embellishments on a blank sheet of paper that is perforated around each design…so that a scrapbooker could punch out the designs and yet keep them neatly in the book while not in use? Ideas are flowing. Thanks!!

Wow!! I am so thrilled to be here to look, learn, and share as a new Pazzle enjoyer earlier this year. I love this environment and all it has to offer. Thanks to all concerned!!
