Father’s Day CD Cases

Father’s Day is this coming Sunday! Finding a gift for dad can sometimes be difficult, not to mention making a card! Many of us are so drawn to the beautiful designs that include lace, pink, flowers, and elegant girly designs that when it comes to something for the boys we are a little lost. We decided to tackle two birds with one stone by making a Father’s Day card that doubles as a holder for a small gift, all done with a recycled CD case! On the far left is Amanda’s fishing design which contains a nice fishing lure for the fishing man in your life. Tatum’s “Lawn Ranger” CD is center and includes a mix CD for dad. Lisa’s “King of the Grill” on the far right opens with a recipe and home made spice rub for grilling that is absolutely delicious! Don’t forget to visit our gallery for more photos of these CD Cases (including pictures of the inside)!

We hope our ideas will help you be inspired for Father’s Day! Make sure to download the cutting files and instructions!

This project brought back memories of my teaching days. I remember helping the kids to make cards for their parents using this method. Of course their artwork wasn’t this professional, but they turned out nice…as did these. I think that it would be a nice project for kids to make cards for their fathers….maybe pop in a photo CD show for Dad to watch. 🙂

This files and the file that opal uploaded of a golf bag make a nice little collection. 😀

I agree with Anna. Opal’s golf bag would work great with these and what a great way to give tickets for a round of golf.
