Life is so busy and some days I just want to send a quick card to a friend for no reason at all. I admire crafters who make decorative, intricate cards but sometimes time and budget need to be a factor. I found this Purse/Handbag cutting file in the Pazzles Craft Room Library and decided to make it into a shaped card.
Shaped cards are really simple to make and once you have mastered the technique you will love making them. A good reason to join the Pazzles Craft Room is that there are a ton of video tutorials that will help you understand and master your software. If you are a beginner and just learning the Pazzles software you will find a great video on Shaped Cards, which will give you the confidence to have a go. Shaped cards are such fun and they are so easy to make, honest! The basic principles to a shaped card are – duplicate – mirror – weld. For some parts of my card I have used outline (shadow) such as on the handle and inline, for the corners of the purse.
A simple card which can be made in 15 minutes!
