Sweet Pumpkins Shaped Card

Three-Pumpkins-Shaped-Card-JW

I love this time of the year when the leaves on the trees change colors, and the pumpkins are filling the shelves in the supermarket. I found the Three Pumpkins cutting file in the Craft Room Library.  Shaped cards are really easy to create out of many cutting files, and there is a great video tutorial in the Craft Room called Making Shaped Cards to help you learn the simple steps.

Essentially, for my card, I welded all the elements and made an outline.  I then selected the outline which I mirrored, duplicated and welded to create my shaped pumpkins card base.  I cut out an extra layer of the outline in brown cardstock to give strength to the front of the card, and to disguise the fold behind the stalk of the middle pumpkin.

I then had fun cutting small scraps of paper for my pumpkins using my Pazzles Inspiration.  I added a few embellishments, and in 15 minutes I had created My Sweet Pumpkins shaped card.
