April 2014 Challenge


Our April Challenge is going to be a little different.   Below you will find a list of items, colors and techniques to use. Be sure and read the list closely so you don’t miss any of the parts, because we want to be sure you get in the drawing.

April-2014-Challenge

List of items:

  • Buttons
  • Brads
  • Vellum Paper
  • Ribbon
  • Doily
  • Googly Eyes
  • Gum Wrapper
  • Left Over Store Receipt
  • Paper Bag
  • Strip of Shabbily Torn Duct Tape

List of  Colors:

  • Ruby Red
  • Gold Flecks
  • Sunset Purple
  • Indigo
  • Crayola Blue Green
  • Clear
  • Invisible Black

List of Techniques:

  • Use an image from the Pazzles Craft Room from Category X
  • Create a title with the word ‘shindig’ in it.
  • Use an even quad-sided shape.
  • Using a full size house painting brush, paint thin lines on your page.

If you haven’t figured it out yet….APRIL FOOLS.   This month the real challenge is to do what ever you want, just use your Pazzles and have a wonderful time with it.

After you have finished your project, go and add it to the April Challenge Folder.  If you need instructions to upload your project, here are the instructions.

    I love these challenges. It’s like an “Eye Spy” of paper crafting, but this time you get to create the project you’re looking for.

    I fell for this one. Then the invisible black threw me. I didn’t really frown until I saw the last entry…thin lines with house painting brush. I am a decorative tole painter and my first thought was to use the house brush and dry brush thin lines…soooooooooo every item on this list is doable. I actually have all the items …even invisible black. Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean I don’t have it. Sounded fun to me…lol.

    Klo, you almost got me when you mentioned shabbily torn duct tape, but invisible black did it. LOL!

    Well,I was thinking that Klo was losin’ it after so many hours on the road.. Then I read “shindig”…!!!!! Oh yes…April Fool!…you got me!

    You almost got me on this one. My creative juices were really pumping until I hit the paintbrush. Has inspired me to do something silly for the Challenge.
