It’s Sunshine Week at Pazzles! All this week we are sharing sunshine inspired projects to warm your hearts and inspire some bright, cheerful crafting!
Everyone’s birthday should be filled with sunshine! I made this birthday card with the Sun Ray Card 2 file from the Craft Room Library. First of all I used a premade card base that measures 5.5″ x 4″. Then I used two different shades of yellow for the rays to make it bright and cheerful. I added a saying with the Pen Tool and stamped the happy birthday sentiment. I then finished it off with some slight shading around the edge, white pen stitching, and bling.
This is a very fast card to make if you need one in a hurry. You can dress it up and make it girly, or you can change out the bling for a manly card. You also can do it in more primary colors for a child. I’m all about the quick and simple for cards because most of the time I don’t remember until it’s almost too late.

Marjorie, I really like this card. The “muted” colors you used makes you realize the versatility of this file. Fabulous!
I love this sunburst card, which radiates warmth from the rays and soft colours.
