Today’s card is a pocket card. And by pocket card we mean it is literally a pocket. Klo designed this cute little valentine to hold a few Smarties candies and a pull out love note. Use the Pen Tool to add faux stitching to the pocket and dress it up any way you’d like. The top piece is slightly larger than the bottom piece so it can be a bit rounded to make room for the candy. Adhere one side at a time, letting it dry in between sides.
Klo has created a boy version, and I’ve created a girl version. To add a bit of frill I attached a Dimensional Bow to a paperclip and tucked that into the pocket as well.
If you are mailing these to a grandchild and need them to be flat, skip the smarties and tuck a few dollar bills in the pocket as well.
