I love sending hand crafted Christmas cards. It is like sending a bit of myself to my friends far and near. Lately, though, I just don’t have the time or energy for the detailed cards I used to make. Instead I want to create a simple card that is classic and elegant. This month’s project pattern is the result of my quest for an easy card that doesn’t look simple. Its classic style works whether it is done all in white or you add a pop of color. I made mine with a linen textured cardstock and simply backed the cut outs with a glitter cardstock. You can change up the look by backing with mirrored cardstock for a more modern look. Or choose a patterned paper for a more casual feel.
