I was looking for a lacy gatefold card, and couldn’t find exactly what I wanted, so I decided to make one. I remembered the lovely Elegant Card Sleeves Collection posted in the Pazzles Craft Room Gallery, and decided to modify them to make this lovely Gatefold Lace Card. The curve of the Elegant Card Sleeve provided the perfect opening for my sentiment, Best Wishes.
I finished the card by adding a lovely 3D Dogwood flower that I designed. Now I have a beautiful card that is suitable for many different occasions, ready to give to someone special.
Supplies Used:
Recollections 65# cardstock in blue and light blue for the card and card liner.
Font: Margarita Regular
100# white cardstock for the flower petals
Yellow Prills for the flower center
Dark green cardstock for the leaves.
Ink Pads and daubers: Bright and pale pink, and turquoise
Bright pink gel pen
Glue that dries clear
