Fall has to be my favorite season, I love the colors, clothes, fun fall activities and the promise of the holiday season just around the corner. So I wanted to create some files that I could use to help decorate my home in honor of the season. Things that were elegant and not overly-cutesy because that just isn’t my style. Out of that desire came this collection and signs.
The collection includes 13 fall themed images – I especially love some of the sayings. The files come in AI, SVG, and WPC so you can use them in any cutting software.
These signs are painted rather than using vinyl. I personally prefer this look. I still used vinyl, but as a stencil. I used vinyl instead of stencil plastic because it creates a very crisp, clean edge. They were so fun and easy to make, two of us made three signs in about an hour. We bought blank signs at the hobby store and used vinyl, a sponge, and acrylic paint. They look every bit as good as the ones you buy in the store. I will definitely be making some more soon!
