Sour Cream Candy Favors

Oh my goodness have you seen the new Digital Paper Packs in the Pazzles Craft Room? I am beyond excited because I love using digital papers with my projects.

I thought I would make some New Year Sour Cream Containers as gifts for my guests. I have used the Snowed In Digital Paper Pack. Although it has snow themed designs, I selected a couple of the papers which can be used at any time of the year.

I printed out my papers and then laid them onto my cutting mat. I then cut out the containers using my Pazzles Inspiration as I would normally do with cardstock. There are many You Tube videos that you can watch to assemble the container. Basically you tape the 3 sides with strong double sided tape and roll into a tube. Close the long edge and then the bottom edge of the container. Leave the top open until the candy has been added inside then container then secure.

I Print and Cut my toppers using the New Year Numbers and Happy New Year Title by Miss Kate Cuttables. I arranged the titles within a 2” circle and Print and Cut. I also cut out a scallop and circle to give the topper some extra dimension using the Medallion Card. Finally, I used a Fiskars crimper to give a decorative edge to the front and bottom of the container then attached my toppers.

A fun project that you can create at any time of the year using different digital papers available in the Pazzles Craft Room.
