I made this Shutter Peekaboo Birthday card for my husband’s birthday. I used an underwater theme for the decorative panels, as he is an avid fisherman. The Happy Birthday sentiment is on the flaps of the gate folded card front. A surprise awaits on the inside of the card.
The camera-like shutters open in the center of the open card to reveal a sentiment in the window, drawn with pens by the cutter. As the card closes, the shutter assembly also closes to hide the sentiment. This is a fun slider mechanism.
