The Pazzles Craft Room is back with our annual 12 Days of Christmas event! This year the theme is pop up cards! Come back each weekday and we will show you a new pop-up card idea (complete with video tutorial)! 12 different holiday pop up cards total!
My favorite part of winter? Cozy-ing up in front of a roaring fire. I wanted to create a winter card recreating that favorite time. Now, I know fireplace pop-up cards aren’t new, but I really took it to the next level with this card.
This fireplace has its own brick pop-up hearth, pop-up fire, wood pillars and mantel, and pop-out poinsettias to top it off!
I used digital papers to make this scene really authentic with wood grain for the floor and mantel from the Weathered Wood Digital Paper Pack, brick for the fireplace and hearth from the Aged Brick Digital Paper Pack, and a subtle snowflake pattern from the Snowed In Digital Paper Pack for the wallpaper.
Supplies:
Dark gray cardstock for card base
Scraps of red, orange, yellow, green, cream, and white
