Light Up DIY Snowman Decoration
So you love building snowmen, but hate getting wet and cold? This adorable snowman is just the ticket. It’s warm and welcoming glow with the lighting will delight you and your family all winter long.
Different Paper Weights for Different Effects
If you prefer it without the lighting, that is fine. Just remove the hole before cutting. You can use a heavy or light cardstock depending on the look you prefer. The picture is done with the 110# cardstock. It does not break down as well, so as you shape it, the paper appears a little bent. If you love this look, then use the heavy paper. If you prefer a pristine and clean look, try a lighter weight of paper.
Add a beautiful spray of pine, add a tag with raffia and you have a perfect winter gift as well.

Making the Snowman Decoration

110# Off-White Cardstock
Black, Orange, Green and Red cardstock
Pen Tool w/ spacer plus Black & Red Pen
Nuvo Crystal Glaze
Yes Glue Paste
Quick drying clear glue
Hot Glue Gun
Foam Square Adhesive
Spectrum Noir Alcohol Marker (I used FL2)
Craft Paint Brushes
Jute Twine
Metallic Rub On (Pink for the cheeks)
Tea Light with remote (optional)
