Show Someone They Are Loved with this DIY I Love You Valentine Sign
Valentine’s day is just around the corner and new home décor is what I need. I had my entryway table in mind when I made this. When people enter my home, I want them to feel that they are loved.
Makes a Fabulous DIY Valentine’s Day Decoration
After placing my sign on my entryway table, all I need to do is get out the candy dish and fill it conversation hearts. I will also be able to set this sign out on my anniversary to show my husband he is loved.
Made from Vinyl and Wood
This sign is made with vinyl applied to wood. If you are new to cutting vinyl you are in for a treat! Vinyl is easy to cut and has so many applications! Of course, as with any new material, it is important to get your cutting settings set up correctly. To help you with that, I am including a video towards the end of this blog that will set you up for success!
Test Cut: Vinyl
While using the default settings will work many times, sometimes we need to make an slight adjustment to make our cutting just right. In this video, we will show you what to look for when cutting vinyl, iron on, HTV or other materials that need to remain on the backing, all starting with a star.
Supply list:
– Paper cutter
– Oracle 631 vinyl Red Cut to 6x8”
– Oracle 631 vinyl Black Cut to 6x19”
– Pazzles Vue Print scan cutting mat
– 12×24 Pazzles cutting mat
– Mat Scraper tool
– Clear Transfer tape Cut to 6x24” Used (not very sticky)
– Weeding tools
– White washed wooden frame
– The font used for “p.s. i love you” is Buttercup
