Thrifty DIY Home Decor Sign
Make this fun and inexpensive wall decor for a gallery wall or other focal point in your kitchen or family room. This can be made inexpensively with thrifted 8 by 10 photo mats, or discounted “oops” mats from the frame department at your local craft store.
Decorate Your Home or Give as a Gift
Try it hung with coordinated ribbons attached at the back corners and tied in a bow. Group family member portraits below or above the Gather Wall Decor Group (grandparents will especially like this as a gift given with current photos of their favorite youngsters.)
Supplies:
6 photo mats, 8×10 inch, with 5×7 inch opening
6 Coordinating sheets of patterned scrapbook paper, such as from the Colorbok Signature Paper Pad – Modern Millinery
Solid cardstock, 12×12 inch. In color to complement the chosen patterned scrapbook paper.
Dimensional foam sticker dots
Glue stick or archival tape
