DIY Bunny Onesie
The Cutest Little Bunny project makes a lovely baby gift. You can use the design with heat transfer vinyl (HTV) or with sublimation ink on a onesie, or you can size the design and layer cut paper pieces for a card or scrapbook page. You may also use as a print and cut project. There are so many possibilities!
Make with Sublimation Ink, Infusion Ink, or HTV
I created my project using sublimation ink in my printer, printed to sublimation paper, and then used a heat press to apply the design to a cute little onesie as a gift for our latest new grandson.
You could use infusion ink pens to draw the design outlines on color copy paper, then fill in the shapes on the paper by hand, using infusion pens in your choice of colors. Then use your heat press to apply the design to any garment that is made of white polyester.
If you want to cut the pieces from HTV, you can either print to printable HTV, and cut out the printed design on your electronic cutter, or you can cut all of the pieces for the cut little bunny, and layer them together. Then transfer the entire design to the garment of your choice, and use an iron or heat press to apply the HTV.
Supplies:
Onesie or t-shirt, white, made of polyester for sublimation or infusion. Printer paper insert, white butcher paper cover, Teflon heat resistant sheet, Heat press or Easy Press and mat, heat resistant tape.
Printer with sublimation ink, Printer paper for sublimation
Or: Infusible Markers, Color Copy Paper, Pen Holder, electronic cutter
Or: A garment of any color or fabric content for use with Heat Transfer Vinyl, plain HTV of your color choice (not glitter or textured, as those do not layer well)
Or cardstock for cutting layers and adhesive.
