DIY Bunny Tracks Trail
This is a really quick and adorable DIY you can whip out for Easter in about 15 minutes. Make it a fun surprise for your family to discover when they wake up Easter morning!
Create A Trail Using the Stencil and Cornstarch
I have included two template options. The square one takes up more space but makes it easier if you really don’t want any powder to “spill” outside of the paw area. Once the stencil is cut, put it on the floor and use a tea strainer (this is optional so don’t worry if you don’t have one) to sprinkle cornstarch or another floor-friendly powder (baking soda would work too!) to create a whole trail.
Sprinkle Candy
You can also sprinkle candy along the trail to make it look like the Easter bunny accidentally let some candy spill out of his basket as he hopped along.
Leave a Surprise at the End of the Trail
Have the trail lead to a fun surprise. This could be an easter basket full of candy, or a fun surprise activity. This doesn’t have to be just for the kids either. Let it lead to a box of chocolates or a beautiful bouquet for your loved one!
Done in 15 Minutes
Projects do not get any easier than this one. If you have paper and cornstarch/baking powder you can make and finish this project in 15 minutes. Being a super mom/dad/spouse doesn’t have to be a lot of work!
Supplies:
Stencil plastic or cardstock
Floor-friendly powder (I used cornstarch)
Tea strainer (optional)
Candy (optional)
