Classes this Week-Wordbooks

WORD BOOKS....I love them and they are so much fun to make. I actually have two different styles that I like to do them in, sooooooo, this week for classes, I am going to show you BOTH styles. The first one will be on SUNDAY and the second one on TUESDAY. If you haven't ever joined us for a class before, this is a GREAT one to start with. Remember, classes are LIVE and INTERACTIVE, so this is a great opportunity to tell me to repeat what I am teaching and making sure you are getting each step. But don't worry if you can't make the classes, they will also be recorded and archived on the class page. To join us, just go to COMMUNITY and then down to KLO's CLASSROOM and click the join button. Sunday Class starts at 8:00pm and Tuesday is at 1:00pm, these are Central US & Canada times.

Classes for this week

There will be no class on Sunday. I will be out of town. Tuesday we will be working on the Tube File that was talked about in Sunday's Q & A Class. So while it will be a technique class, it is also going to be a project class as well, so don't miss it. If you haven't joined us for a class before, now is a great time to do that. The classes are live and interactive and it doesn't matter if you are new or a pro, you can always join in. Classes generally last about one hour, so make yourself an appointment to be there, I look forward to seeing you. If for some reason you can't make a class, don't worry, we record them all, and you can find them on the Klo's Classroom page under Community

Don’t forget–This weeks classes

If you haven't had a chance to join us for class, why not make this the week. To join us, simply go to Klo's Classroom under the Community tab. Sundays class is going to be a Q & A class. Do have a particular question or file you are working on? Well, email me at klo@pazzles.com with the question and/or file and we will get it answered in class. The emails received will get priority in class, so be sure and email me before hand with your questions. Tuesday we are going to be Paper Piecing from a color book. This is not going to be layering on a back piece, but actual paper piecing and showing you how to make the pieces fit together. Remember the class times are Central Time (US & Canada), Sunday starts at 8pm CST and Tuesday 1pm CST.

July Class Schedule

If you haven't had a chance to join us for a live class, why not make July the month you join us live. Not sure what they are all about? Well, this is your chance to interact live with other people from around the world, while learning fun new things that you can do with your cutter. If for some reason, you are unable to join us for a live session, don't despair, you can still go watch the classes in the archives. Here is the schedule for the next 3 classes, I'm putting the 10th up early, so you can get your emails to me. (don't forget, classes start at 8pm CST on Sunday and at 1pm CST on Tuesday, that is Chicago time) Sunday, July 3-We will be working in the Pazzles Pro 2010 Software-so if you have this software, don't miss this and if you are thinking about getting the new software, this is a great opportunity to see it in action. Tuesday, July 5-Measuring Up-We will be learning all the different ways you can get the right size, as well as knowing what size paper you need. Sunday, July 10-Question and Answer Week-If you have a specific question or problem with a file, email it to me PRIOR to this class with your question and we will answer it live. Don’t Forget

If you haven't had a chance to check out my classes yet I invite you to join us for FREE classes that are open to EVERYONE whether you are a Craft Room member or not. Even if you are not a Pazzles owner you are welcome to come and learn with us. To get to the classes click on "Community" from the top navigation bar and then select "Klo's Classroom". Make sure to sign in as a GUEST. The classroom goes live 15-30 minutes before the class begins and I hold classes on Sundays at 8pm CST and Tuesdays at 1pm CST, occasionally I do have to cancel a class because I am out of town but I will always post on the Craft Room to let you know. In fact I will be posting here every week from now on to let you know what classes are coming up. Here is what to expect for this week...

Hair “Pretties”

When my daughter was young, she had beautiful long blonde hair and she always wanted 'pretties' for her hair. We had different kinds, there were "circle pretties", "clippy pretties" and some basic "headband pretties" that I attempted to make, some were okay, but I didn't have the Pazzles in those days. Over the holiday, my son and his family came and visited. They have two girls and they also like "pretties" for their hair, so we made a WHOLE BUNCH of them.

A Great Big Thank You

This past weekend was wonderful. I want to thank you all for joining us for the marathon of classes, whether via the live class or the recorded ones. I always learn so much from everyone and I am just so grateful for how much everyone shares and is so willing help others. I hope that each of you will share pictures of your completed projects as you finish them. Looking forward to what you do in the future with your DRAW tools.

2010 Marathon Weekend of Classes

I am just so excited about this weekend with the projects and teaching that are planned. We will begin on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2010 at 1pm Central USA Time (same as Chicago). There will be sessions that will run every 2-4 hours throughout the ENTIRE weekend, so that EVERYONE can attend some of them a long the way, whether you live in the USA, England, South Africa, Australia or the North Pole. Just stop in to the classroom anytime you want. If the session is not running at that moment, it will have the next time posted. Remember, the time you see posted will be Chicago time, so plan accordingly. One of the projects that you will be learning to create will be this stationary gift box.

Online Weekend Class Marathon-December 3-5, ...

It is time for another weekend long marathon of online classes. You can get ready ahead of time by getting all the things on the supply list included here. I am SO excited about what I'm creating for this. You will be able to use it as a gift if you would like, or keep it for yourself. Watch here for photos in the next few days, as well as a schedule. I can hardly wait!

Upcoming Classes

Just a reminder that there is NO CLASS for the next TWO Sundays. I will be in an airplane high above the Earth heading home and they seem to frown on me broadcasting from up there. However, there will be classes on Tuesday.

Winners in Utah

Last weekend I was in Sandy, Utah at the Scrapbook USA Expo. Pazzles gave away a Pazzles Inspiration in the Dance Contest. Our winner was Lynn Millis from Bountiful.... Congratulations Lynn on your new wonderful machine, now if your two daughters let you have it, you are going to be having the time of your life creating with your Inspiration. It was so much fun to get to talk to you, LOVE THAT INFECTIOUS SMILE....don't ever stop.

Wow, I'm gone for the weekend at the Scrapbook USA Expo in Utah (more on that later) and come back to an amazing welcome. Thank you. I feel like I should make some type of acceptance speech..."I'd like to thank the Academy..." But really, I have been a member of the Pazzles family for many years and I cannot tell you how much I love these people. Now since Pazzles is my family and 'little sister' Amanda shared such a 'lovely' photo of me last week, I felt that I should share one of her also. (you know what they say about paybacks) This is what she looks like as she sits at her desk and answers all the questions and does her amazing creations. *VERY BIG GRIN*

Welcome Klo!

The entire Pazzles Craft Room team is so excited to welcome our newest addition, Klo Oxford! For years Klo has been known in the crafting community as a Pazzles expert, always willing to share her extensive knowledge of the Pazzles Inspiration and software. Klo travels the US and even the globe teaching and selling as a Pazzles representative. Klo's vibrant personality and eagerness to help has earned her friends all across the United States. In the little spare time that is left she contributes to the Pazzles community even more through forums, classes, blogs and more. We are so excited to have Klo onboard at the Craft Room. Keep an eye out for exciting new goodies brought to you by the Pazzles Craft Room's newest staff member, Klo!
