This year for the 12 Days giveaway is all about memories. Memories from the past years or memories for the upcoming year. Each day we will provide you with a different month. You can use this for a special gift in the form of a Year in Review scrapbook or use it as the top of a very personalized calendar. For our friends “Down Under,” we have included all the pieces for each month, so you can put the proper embellishment with the month that works for you and your seasons. We hope you enjoy this year’s 12 Days of Memories and that it will bring you joy and happiness all year long.

Hello Craft Room Friends. Melinda here with you today sharing the February calendar/scrapbook page. February has the wonderfully iconic celebration of Valentine’s Day. So I decided to work with the pretty title created and run with the theme of hearts.

I started by creating some pretty roses die cuts to go with the title. I cut the title base in Kraft cardstock and then cut the layers separately. I then embossed the chevron hearts and the scalloped frame with the Gold Tinsel embossing powder.

I inked the oval scallop with my Pearlescent Crimson ink pad. Once I cut the roses, I inked the edges with my Galaxy Gold Ink pad and then used my McGill flower shaping tools to shape the petals.
