Hello Craft Room Friends. Melinda here with you today sharing the February calendar/scrapbook page. February has the wonderfully iconic celebration of Valentine’s Day. So I decided to work with the pretty title created and run with the theme of hearts.
I started by creating some pretty roses die cuts to go with the title. I cut the title base in Kraft cardstock and then cut the layers separately. I then embossed the chevron hearts and the scalloped frame with the Gold Tinsel embossing powder.
I inked the oval scallop with my Pearlescent Crimson ink pad. Once I cut the roses, I inked the edges with my Galaxy Gold Ink pad and then used my McGill flower shaping tools to shape the petals.

Beautiful! I love the dimension of the flowers, and the elegance of the embossing and pearls. The lattice heart gives a beautiful touch for remembering Valentines celebrations.
