March 14th is Pi day. Every year at my kid’s school, everyone is required to make a Pi day project. Honestly, the kids get into it so much, it could be classified as an actual event! It is so much fun to see what Pi shaped things everyone comes up with.
I have seen a Pi shaped stool, Pi shaped cakes and cookies, Pi shaped art, and all kinds of Pi quips show up on a wide variety of Pi shaped items. Just about everyone wears a Pi day t-shirt (Though I think they do this to get out of wearing their uniform for the day…lol) It’s just a fun day overall, and believe it or not the kids actually do learn something!
I made this box in celebration of Pi day. You can fill it with treats and give it to your math teacher and since it stands alone, the teacher can use it for décor after all the treats are gone. You can also cut the Pi symbol out of Pazzles Iron on material and make your very own Pi day tshirt. I realize not everyone celebrates Pi day, but this box was made especially for us nerds!!
