Lucky Charms

Lucky_Charms

Sometimes we just don’t realize how good we are until someone else gives us recognition. This week’s Fabulous Find goes to a person that is just starting with the cutter, even though she modestly states that ” it is it’s nothing out of the box”. Dascrapper found this wonderful cutting file that was provided by one of our craft room friends. She used it to make a two page layout that shows the love she has for her family and how they are her lucky charms. You can see she poured her love into the pages.  It turned out beautifully proving that sometimes the best pages are not the most outlandish ones. In this case, a little goes a long way. The shades of green together makes the pictures pop as a focal point yet still keeps you coming back to the page to look for more. This is what scrapbooking should be about: a perfect contrast between photos and page decor. This is an amazing job for someone who is so new.

Congratulations dascrapper for a fabulous project.

What a great job you did! Thanks for sharing your pages. When I saw them, I thought “I need to get the cutting file for that.” So I looked in the cutting files, and found it. What a “duh” moment for me. I already have the file, because I created it. I didn’t even recognize it because of the lovely job you did putting your pages together. I love to see what others can do with the shared files.

I am so surprised to discover this layout ending up as a “Fabulous Find”!Thank you for the compliments and encouragement. The background lace just grabbed my attention — it’s an example of finding product you just HAVE to use then having to find pictures to go with it. Thank you again for the cutting file and sharing your talent with newbies.

This is a great pattern. I am obsessed with shamrocks and four leaf clovers.I would like to know how this cutting file was created. I am trying to make an overlay of the shamrock patterns without the photos frames. But I am really new to this.
