We often tend to focus a lot on what the Inspiration can do with paper. It is easy to do considering there are so many things you can make – cards, pages, boxes, bags, decorations, books, and gifts just to name a few. I think sometimes there are just so many things that we can do with our Inspirations that we often can simply focus on one aspect, like cutting paper, and be completely content. But there are so many more things that we can do with drawing, vinyl, fabric, stencils, engraving and more. That’s why I love this project by Craft Room member, createwithkelly. She used fun foam to cut the title and girls names for her daughter’s soccer team. Since the dolphins were too large to cut on her Inspiration she created stencils that she pieced together as guides for cutting the dolphins. To top it all off she added rhinestones (you do all recall my weakness for rhinestones right?). I love that she branched out and used several different possibilities with her Inspiration and that is why this banner is this week’s fabulous find. Congratulations createwithkelly and be sure to check your email!

aw that is really clever, and very pretty… would not have thought of doing the bit by bit piecing of the dolphins – and love a bit of bling!
Congratulations, well deserved!!
How nice! Enjoy the notoriety! Great project!
Thank you!! I was very excited to win! The Dolphins, esp. my daughter loved the bling too 🙂
congratulations!! what a great idea.
Kelly, how did you display this? Was this just regular cotton material? It’s sooo cute! We pay to have one made every year, maybe one day I could make it myself! : )
