First of all I have to say that I had an exceptionally hard time picking a winner this week because there were so many awesome projects that went up. There was an amazing cake, delicious hat, and so many gorgeous other creations. So many would be worthy of the Fabulous Find for the week but alas, there can only be one! So after much debate I have chosen this spectacular baby book by Craft Room member “harrypfan”. This is an entire baby scrap book complete with pages for the big day, guest and gift list for the shower, a chart for the baby’s first teeth, a page dedicated to movies/headlines/music etc. that is popular when the baby is born – harrypfan really thought of everything. Harrypfan also took a lot of time to add some wonderful interactive features to many of the pages such a a giraffe with an expanding tape measure neck. How cute! I also love the little animals harrypfan made, don’t you? They are just precious. I can’t share all of the pages here so make sure to go to the albums to see them all, I am sure you will love it as much as I do. Thank you all so much! The book is the first project I uploaded to the Craft Room. I have to say it was a challenge for me and my daughter. We had 30 days to complete a total of 30 pages. All during which I was in the middle of finals for school and my daughter was working crazy long hours at work! Over the years, we have made baby books for family members, but this was a request by one of her co-workers. It was also the first “themed” baby book we have done. It definitely was a challenge finding various ways to tie in the requested “jungle” theme.
I am happy to report that the mother-to-be was very excited.
