Easy Easter Egg Buddies

Easter is this weekend and I have to say that this has been my favorite holiday since I was a kid. I think it has something to do with seeing those pretty Easter baskets filled with yummy goodies and the array of different pastel colors on all the packaging. The Easter Bunny always filled up our baskets with fun little toys and an outfit for church too! Those are such great memories to have. Even better…the Easter Bunny still fills up a basket for me and I’m a grown up! I think that we all know that creating fun projects like these still brings out the kid in all of us. So maybe we are just all kids stuck in grownups bodies! When I created these little ‘Easter Buddies’ I right away thought not only are they cute decorations, but they would make great place settings to write the names of friends and family members on them to reserve their special spot at the table for Easter brunch or dinner. If you’re in to Easter egg hunts I couldn’t think of a better surprise hiding in the grass than these little eggs, but don’t forget to fill them with chocolate on the inside! It’s fun to find them, but it’s even more fun to find out what’s waiting on the inside. Nothing is better than a simple project with a big impact that kids and adults alike will love. These little eggs are easy for kids to assemble too so the entire family can get in on the fun.

Here is the cutting file and recipe for these super easy little egg buddies!
