Have you ever been working on a project and wished you had someone to guide you? Maybe you are struggling with color combinations or how to use a printed paper. You might be trying a new product or technique and can’t seem to make it work. Recently, I was faced with that challenge when I decided to try digital scrapbooking. I needed a little help from someone with more experience.
I was working on this late one Friday night and I was in a quandary as to where I would get some advice. We had recently created a Pazzles Facebook page for me. It dawned on me that there was a group of talented people I could seek advice from. I posted my beginner page and asked for help and it didn’t
take long for someone to answer. It was wonderful! I incorporated some of their ideas and then posted my second version. Again, several people encouraged me and gave more suggestions. The final result is at the top of this blog.
I am pretty proud of my first attempt at hybrid scrapbooking. I printed some of the page and cut other parts from paper. When put together it is a page that has more dimension compared to a completely digital page. I am a pretty tactile person and still need to add ‘real’ stuff to my pages. 🙂 I definitely feel that it is on the beginner level but I think I will continue to do this type of scrapbooking.
If you need help with a project you can tap into the potential of the Pazzles community just like I did. You can post in the forums and include a photo. There are a lot of members who check the forums daily. I know they are very talented and ready to assist anyone.
You can also LIKE my Facebook page or the Pazzles Facebook page and post there too. We are doing some fun things and we have more coming. I would love to see more of you on our pages. The more people we have the more the ideas can be shared. If my page reaches 200 ‘likes’ I will post the file for this page. I created the entire thing in the Inspiration Studio software so it can be cut out if you don’t want to print it.
Double thanks to my Facebook gals that helped me and encouraged me! You had great ideas. I hope I can return the favor some day soon!
It turned out great….and again…love the colors that you chose!
The final transformation of your page is beautiful. I too, shy away from digital scrapbooking because I like the dimensions and textures. Although, digital scrapbooking can offer many ideas where you can play before putting the final product together.
Chris, your page turned out beautiful. I especially love your tall forest tree. Is that a new cutting file or one that is already in the Pazzles collection? Just curious.
