It’s so lovely to receive gifts, but sometimes it takes a while to find a Thank You card that is as special as the gift received. I hate the shop bought cards as they seem so impersonal, and now that I have my Pazzles Inspiration I would much rather create one myself. So, I have decided to create a Thank You card using my Pazzles and just change the patterned papers, to suit the person who gives me a gift.
I designed my simple base card using kraft cardstock and selected the Round Corner tool to give it a softer look. I learnt this by watching the Rounding Corners video tutorial in the Craft Room Videos.
I downloaded a simple tag from the Craft Room Library and created an inline for my patterned paper. I typed out my ‘Thank’ sentiment and welded the letters together, then cut it out using kraft cardstock. I adhered it to the spotted designed paper, which I also cut out using my cutting machine, to ensure a perfect fit! See Welding Words video tutorial. Finally, I designed my monogram for the ‘U’ and cut it out of coordinating patterned paper. A touch of doodling around the edge of the card and some embellishments on the tag completed my card.
Now, I have designed my card I can alter the look for a female or masculine Thank You card using the appropriate papers in my craft room.
