This project is perfectly suited for today, because it is pouring rain outside in Kuna, Idaho. While these are intended for a bridal shower or baby shower, you can celebrate a rainy day as well!
Each of these little umbrellas can hold treats. Leave them on the table for guests to enjoy at the party, or wrap them up in cellophane for take home favors. You can adapt these to hold cupcakes as well by creating the umbrella handle around a toothpick and sticking it in the top of the cupcake.
If a bridal or wedding shower is not in your forecast, shrink down the file and make some paper umbrella stirring straws for a summer picnic. Simply leave off the handle and attach the paper umbrella to a straw or stirring stick.
