May Challenge Reminder

What have you been inspired by this month? Our May challenge is all about using the world around you as inspiration. You can find details about this month’s challenge here. As part of this month’s challenge you will need to post both the inspiration piece and the finished piece.

Today we have some challenge inspiration from the two newest design team members, Belle Donaghey and Krista Petersen-Hong. They are sharing photos of their inspiration as well as the finished project.

Belle was inspired by her grandfather’s cap.

She created a layout about him that was inspired by his life and the colors of the cap.

Soup-Inspiration-KPH

Krista was inspired by a healthy soup recipe. Her desire for her children to eat healthy inspired her to learn to cook

Pop-Up-Kitchen-Card-KPH

She created the most adorable pop-up kitchen card using files from the Craft Room Library.

Share with us what inspires you! After you have finished your project, go and add it to the May Challenge Folder. We will be randomly selecting a winner to receive a prize.

Wow, 2 most beautiful projects. I like the pocket journalling on the layout and the use of banners around the photo. The pop up kitchen card is amazing and such a fun project. Such a great May Challenge.

The page layout is beautiful also. What a neat idea for the picture with the banners and the journaling pocket. Love it.

The scrapbook page is one of a kind. What a tribute to an ancestor. The card is spectacular.
