I have a love/hate relationship with snow. I love the beauty of it when it is freshly fallen, but after awhile, I am ready for it to go away. When I saw these photos of my granddaughter, Willow, it was definitely a love snow day. The delight she is having being out in the snow for the first time was wonderful. My daughter said when they made her come in, she threw a fit for about 30 minutes, because she wanted to go back out. Apparently, “the cold never bothered her anyway!”
I am slowly working my way back to the 8 1/2″ x 11″ format for some of my photos because of space issues, so I decided to make this one of them. If you would want to have it be a 12″ x 12″, it would be easy to add a strip of paper to each edge and then you can add some extra photos and journaling as well.
For this page, I used my white pen to create fun dashes around the title, snowflakes and the top picture. It gives it a fun look without taking a lot of work. I put my Pen Tool in first and did the pen work, then put in the blade holder and cut out the pieces. Then I just glued everything down. Just a note: On the right side, leave the top of the scallop open, so the photo fits behind it nicely.

great photos Love the layout
This is awesome Klo. I’m an 8 1/2 x 11 scrapbooker so it’s nice to see examples in this size. I have already picked out my photo’s that will look great in this layout.
