My favourite thing – I have so many, but when it comes to cutting files, this vintage frame is my go to file and has become a favourite. Couple that with this terrific quote, and two of my favourite things come together to make a lovely home décor piece for my craft room.

I enlarged the vintage frame file to fit the height of the 12″x 12″ mat so the dimensions looked right in the frame. I always agonise over selecting just the right font, but once that is done this project is so quick and easy to complete.
By adding some pearls around the edge of the oval with the quote and some soft flowers, my home décor is ready to be placed into a shadow box and placed in my craft space.
The possibilities are endless here to create your own home décor piece. Any frame, any quote or saying, or music lyric, and your favourite colours and you have your own custom artwork.
