Christmas Advent Tags Cutting Collection: WPC, SVG and AI

Christmas Advent Tags

December 1 starts the Christmas countdown, so be ready with an adorable advent calendar. These countdowns are part of building Christmas magic in my family and I’m excited to pass that along to you and your family. We’ve done different things throughout the years, but in general the advent contains a Christmas scripture and a very small treat.

The Christmas Advent Tags Cutting Collection includes 25 tags and a banner for display. The tags progress through the story of The Night Before Christmas poem. You can let your little people figure out which line of the poem each tag matches, or it would be fun to tuck pieces of the poem in with the advent.

This year I’m hanging mine as banner. To make the little pockets I simply sealed envelopes shut, then cut the top off. I’m attaching the tags with clothespins.

While you can certainly cut out and piece together all of the tags, I have a little trick to share. I used the print and cut feature on the Inspiration Vue to print and cut out all of my tags. I then went back to the file and selected a piece from each tag to cut from cardstock. I mounted those pieces onto the tag over the printed design with a dimensional dot to give them depth. I colored in all of the snow outlines with Stickles as well. It’s a fun way to dress them up a bit without spending a lot of time creating them.

The Christmas Advent Tag cutting collection is available for purchase in WPC, AI, and SVG cutting file formats in the Pazzles Store. Craft Room members can download this Collection from the Craft Room Library in the Collection Section. Craft Room members can see our other Collections in the Library, and non-members can purchase any or all Collections in the Store.
