Hello Craft Room friends, Melinda here with you today. My task was to share something with a winter theme. So I decided to use two of the new files in the Craft Room to create this wintery fun birthday card. Often I create birthday cards that aren’t necessarily specific to the season in which they happen, but this card is going to my niece who was born in the first week of January. Plus she lives in Michigan, so I thought a cute little snowman card would fit the bill. I didn’t have all the different colored cardstock on hand, so I decided to pull my markers and inks out to add color to several of the die-cut pieces. I then decided to create a basic easel card base and used the Frosty Fun Birthday Title cut file for the bottom part. I used some foam tape to give it enough lift so that the card would easily stand. The patterned papers are from the DCWV White Ginger stack and the DCWV Little Miss Stack. I think she will love her fun card!

Oh my gosh! This is adorable!!
This is just so adorable and I love the color combo you used!
love this card so adorable
Love this card…but curious, what does the front look like? Do you try to hide the balloons??
Hey Clesleenow thanks for the comment and the question! This card is an easel card so it actually folds flat so that the snowman and balloons are displayed on the “front” of the card. You might be able to see the easel feature better by looking at another one of our easel cards which also shows a photograph from the side when open: https://www.pazzles.net/wordpress/2020/03/30/easter-swing-easel-card
