I got this idea from the Glitter Snowflake Wreath and thought of making it Patriotic. I got the stars from the tin star in the Pazzles Library. I used a twelve-inch wreath frame and discarded all the inner frames and spray painted it burgundy. I cut out the stars in one sheet of each color and used the embossing tool for the fold lines instead of the dash cut lines because it would make the lines look much better when distressing them. I used colors for the stars from another wreath that I saw on the Internet. I then used my distress markers and edged the stars with the brush end. I then used the vintage photo distress ink and lightly sponged the white stars. I folded all the stars on the embossed edges and used the markers on the raised edges of the stars. I glued white ribbon to the frame and cut it about eighteen inches so it would be long enough to hang. I used the glue gun to glue the stars to the frame and some of the stars to make them nice and secure. I made a bow that I had in my stash and attached it to the wreath. I believe this wreath can be used for Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day and Veterans Day.

I love how you have used different sized stars around the wreath, great project.
What’s the biggest size star we can make?
Hey Laurel! On a 12″x12″ sheet of paper you can make a star about 11.5″x11.5″ when laid flat. Hope that helps!
