Here in the UK Beach Huts (as we call them) are a familiar sight along beaches which are admired by everyone who visits a seaside resort. Rock is a sugar based sweet sold at the seaside so I thought it would perfect to put inside my Beach House gift box and give as a gift to someone going on vacation.
Using my Pazzles InVue software I imported the template box, select File>New From Template>Boxes>basic-square-box-with flap-lid. I resized the box and removed the lid within my software. I then cut the box using my Pazzles Inspiration Vue with heavier weight cardstock. Incidentally, you can manually cut the lid off using scissors. No one is going to know if you cheated and didn’t use your software for this last step!
I then imported the Beach House ready to Print and Cut for the front of my box. I duplicated some of the elements such as the roof and door and layered them to give dimension to the front of my gift box.
I created a duplicate of the Beach House for the back of my box. I deleted some of the elements such as the flags, anchor and door before I Print and Cut.
Finally, I Print and Cut some of the Beach House panels for the side of my gift box. This project takes a bit of time and probably suited to more experienced crafters who enjoy the challenges of Print and Cut. However, once the file is created it can easily made in multiples.
