Pencil Box

Here in the UK, the children return back to school in September! I thought this project would make a great gift for teachers to keep their pencils safe as they are always losing them under a pile of books on their desks!

I used the Teacher Pet Candy Bar Wrapper from the Teacher Pet Collection. I cut the wrapper out of Kraft Card as I needed some strength to the project to hold the pencils. When I had cut the box out and before I assembled it, I used a stamp to create my background which gave some extra dimension to the Kraft Card.

I Print and Cut my Back 2 School title which I manipulated to give the desired effect and then I layered it onto my wrapper using craft foam. I used my Pazzles InVue software to draw 3 stars in different sizes and typed ‘abc’ which I cut using colored cardstock.

This wrapped is a great size and can be also used to hold a chocolate bar! Don’t forget that this wrapper can be resized for smaller or larger gifts.

Supplies Used:
Kraft Cardstock
American Crafts colored cardstock
Textured white cardstock A4 – Papermania (DoCrafts)
Color Box Ink Pads
Timeless Textures stamp set – Stampin Up
Craft foam pads
