Creating Interactive Flip Fold Page inserts designed to fit the Interactive Flip Fold Album was so much fun, that I decided to make some more! This time I created a carnation design to add, and used it as a stand-alone card.
It can be used for any occasion, simply by adding an appropriate sentiment as an embellishment. The card is 6” x 8”, but the cutting file may be resized as desired. It has a nice pocket inside for holding a gift card, tags, notes, or photos, etc. The flaps are held in place with a tiny, but strong magnet. Open the flaps to find more surprises!
You can use a single flower or make an entire bouquet of carnations for a project for a special occasion.
Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood Paper Pack You may use decorative paper of your choosing.
80# white cardstock for card pieces
100 # smooth white cardstock for flower
Clear Shimmer spray or Glimmer Mist (See Instructions for making your own)
Inks for Flowers and leaves: Choose ink in two shades of the same color for flower layers that will go with your paper choices for the card. I used a bright pink and a soft pink pad for one flower, and bright and light purple ink pads for the purple flower.
Glue that dries clear
String of pearls
Super Strong Round Disc Magnets (2 magnets)
1 foot of 1.5” lace
