As Autumn approaches I love a luxurious cup of latte to warm me up on a cool morning. With these stencils you can make an extra fancy cup with a cinnamon or cocoa design on the top that is every bit as nice as what you would get at an upscale coffee shop!
Use the stencils for yourself, impress guests, or package up in a mason jar with latte mix and some wafers for the perfect fall gift.
I have included two sentiments for the tag “Thanks a latte” and “Love you a latte.” On the flip side, the tag includes instructions on how to create foam using just the mason jar, milk, and a microwave! No fancy machines required!
I used stencil plastic for the stencils so that they are reusable but if you just want them for one day you could cut them out of plain old cardstock. There are four stencils total!
I filled the jar with latte mix, wafer cookies, and a stencil. This is such a wonderful gift and it costs next to nothing – $3-4 dollars tops! This is a wonderful option for when you have a lot of people you want to give gifts to or make it extra special for just one person!
A few tips for the perfect stencil design (these are all on the tag but just to highlight them!)
– For best results the foam is key! Ideally you want a nice thick, flat layer of tiny bubbles. I was struggling to get good foam and it turns out I was way over-heating my milk, just follow the instructions carefully on the tag and you should be successful!
– Try and get the stencil as close to the foam as you can without touching it for crisp designs
