Autumn Shaker Cards

A few weeks ago I was lucky to get my hands on some adorable sequins and I couldn’t wait to do a shaker card! The amazing colors of autumn make the season a perfect one to make some shaker cards. Well, I picked up matte finished sequins for these beautiful cards. So, here goes a set of absolutely simple cards filled with a lot of green, yellow, orange sequins.

For the first card, the sequins represent the leaves of the tree. I cut a tree from the Pazzles library and used a transparent sheet as a window. I added a white background inside the oval so that the colors pop up and the tree is dark. I first worked on the background and then used a tape for a bit of pop! The second card is quite similar but I have used a large maple leaf as the window design. I picked up some stamps and embossed thanks on vellum with gold and black on the cardstock for a final touch.
