Home Sign with Vase

This super quick and easy sign could be the perfect last minute gift for Mother’s Day or even a new graduate heading off to college for the first time to create their first home.  For that matter, it could even be a wedding gift.  Yes, the ideas are endless.

Simply find the size board you want to use and a jar that will fit on it, without taking over. Paint the board (I used Art Minds Deco pewter) and while it is drying, take your jar to the hardware store and get a hose clamp that will hold it.

Before you attach the clamp, go ahead and cut out the vinyl or stencil material and use your Chalkology Paste from Chalk Couture. (I used white and red.

Now attach the clamp and put the jar on.  If you are planning on hanging your sign on the wall, just get a picture holder and attach to the back or put on an easel.

You can use real flowers or a silk flower.  Change them out with the season’s and enjoy this year round.
