I’m Egg-cited Card

The Pen tool is my all-time favorite tool in the collection of tools that Pazzles has! It is unique and just perfect for you to say and write anything-with pen tool I feel the power of expression is with me. After extensively using the pen tool over the last year, I decided to try an embossing pen from Ranger with the tool. The gold shine that you have around the yolk in this project is done by using a clear embossing pen from Ranger and it fits perfect in our pen tool!

We have two quick rules to follow for using embossing pen. First, always remember to finish your entire card (cut, write sentiments or anything) before using the embossing pen. The ink of the embossing pen can dry quick and you need it to be wet for the embossing powder to stick. Just before using the embossing pen, tap the area with anti-static embossing powder. Once you note these two small steps, the rest is a just pure fun!

I used copic markers to shade the yolk and one side of the white as I wanted to give a dimensional effect. I also die cut the top layer with a die from my stash to give it a nice quirky look! I am Egg-cited that I learnt a new technique, are you?
