Capture a Birthday with this Scrapbook Layout
What a perfect way to capture the joy and happiness of a birthday for any age. If you don’t want to do a scrapbook layout, the elements in this layout would be the perfect items to add to a card.
One or Two Page Scrapbook Spread
Here I have shown one page with one photo but I have included extra element so that you can easily expand this in to a two page spread. There is an extra “party” circle with a present, and photo corners. You could take the “birthday” text and put it on the second page and fill that one with more photos and the cake for a perfect two page spread!
File Set Up for Easy Cutting
Also in the file you will see I have set up the file two ways – one with everything layered on top of each other and another with everything grouped by color. If you plan to paper-piece this like I did, the pieces grouped by color will make it extra easy to cut out your pieces. On the other hand, if you want to print and cut some of the elements you can use the layered version. It also makes a great reference when you are assembling everything!
Customize with Your Own Colors and Papers
This layout is easy to customize to any gender or age. Just pick a one patterned paper that you love and some colored cardstock to match and you are ready to go!
