Reinventing the Lunch Box
I used the file hinged round top lunch box to create this beautiful box. I didn’t make any changes to the original file except I added a pretty unicorn to the front. This box shows how easily you can take a project and customize it in to something completely new!
Make this Whimsical Unicorn Box with A Few Simple Supplies
To make this unicorn box, I used the purple cardstock as my base and then used the iridescent cardstock for my accents. I thought adding a cute little unicorn would be a great touch for unicorn lovers like myself. I finished it off with a white boa trim which I think adds the perfect extra touch of whimsy. You can find my complete supply list below and downloadable .pdf assembly instructions are included with the download.
The Perfect Size
This box stands about 5″ tall with the lid close, and has a base that is about 5″ by 3″ making this box plenty big. You can also shrink it down if you’d like something smaller, or enlarge it and use 12″x24″ paper to make an extra big one!
Customize and Use for Parties
This box would make a great gift box or party favor box! Or use as decor or center pieces at a party! Just like I did, there are tons of ways to customize too. Wouldn’t it make a fabulous pirate treasure box? What about putting a slit in the top and making this into a box for valentines?
