A DIY Music Love Handmade Card for your Love
Hello Everyone…
If you have a special someone in your life that loves music, then this card combines to remind him or her of the day you met and brings the love of music with it. This card has beautiful unique designs in the files such as music notes with little hearts, guitar flowers, some gears. Your love will love this card!
Oversized Card Design
I have designed this as an oversized 6″x9″ card. This leaves room for all the beautiful details and will make a beautiful piece of art to place on a shelf or mantle. If you need, you can shrink this down. You may need to remove the smaller cuts in the guitar design first and remember that you will have less room for embellishments.
Beautiful DIY Paper Flowers
As usual, I have included several of my signature paper flowers. If this is your first time making my flowers, you may want to watch the video included towards the end of the post. This video is a condensed version of a class I taught showing my special tips and techniques for flower making.
Adjust the Title for Many Uses
I’ve made this card to be for someone you love (that could be a daughter, best friend, or husband!) but it can easily be adjusted for any music lover. Just leave off the message or change it into anything you want. This could be a wonderful birthday card, a special card for a music teacher, or whatever else you can think of!
Customizing the Title
For my card I chose to print and cut the text. Since it is a square, you really can just print it on your printer and hand cut outline, or you can use the Print and Cut method. I have also included the title so that you can draw it using the pen tool. The font I used in the file is SLF Magnolia Sky (not pictured), which is available here on the craft room too so if you have the font then you can change the message to anything at all! Some other ideas would be…
“You’re the music in my heart”
“Just a note to say…”
“Without you, life would B-flat”
“Forget your trebles”
“You are the key to my heart”
“For the record, you are a classic!”
“Listen, and you will hear a symphony”
“Sing like no one is listening”
“Life is a song – sing it!”
