DIY Dandelion Birthday Card
This card was inspired by the great amount of gardening I’ve been doing this year. Dandelions get a bad rap in manicured neighborhoods, but they are endeared to my heart for the memories I have of my and my children’s early years when making wishes on dandelions was a fun oft-practiced ritual. Dandelions are a treat for our lagomorphic furry friends (bunnies) and are great for humans in breads, salads, and jams!
Size Up or Down
This birthday card is a 5 by 7 inch card but could be scaled down or sized up as needed. It would also make a great scrapbook addition; a photo could be wedged among the outer dandelions on a birthday celebration page.
Customize the Colors and Add Your Own Touches
This project could be adapted using a different color theme, textured or glitter papers, all white with only the dandelions in color, etc. to suit your or the recipient’s fancy. Dimensional foam stickers can be used behind the assembled elements to make the cake pop off the card front. This should be able to be completed in about an hour and is a great item to make ahead and add to your stash. Add your personal message inside and send to a friend or loved one, or attach to a gift or gift basket.

I think this would work so well if you doubles the dandelions and used them on the new slim line card base… the happy Birthday could be smaller so you don’t mess with those beauties! Off to try it!
Great idea for modifying it! That’s my favorite part of owning a Pazzles!
