DIY Wish You Were Here Card
Lately, we find ourselves in a unique position of social distancing, wearing masks, and doing our best to not visit our older friends and relatives. I have found myself reaching for a card just to send a note more often than ever, and this suits the bill just perfectly.
College kiddos are also just getting settled into dorm life, and the 5×7 card base has plenty of room to write news and stories to share. Grab your scrap papers and make a few of these so they can have a stash handy.
A Super Quick Card for A Quick Note To Loved Ones
Everyone loves receiving handmade cards, and it’s even more fun to send them! But they can take awhile to make, especially on the spur of the moment.
I designed this card especially for those of us who love cardmaking but have a hard time finding the time. What a super quick and easy way to send a loved one a special note. It’s a breeze to make and better yet, no planning is required! There are no embellishments to purchase and you can create it completely with scraps left over from other projects.
Whimsical Pen Details
Using a real pen for the simple text and accents gives your card a whimsical look, and it’s so effortless! If you haven’t used the pen tool feature in your Pazzles creations, you’ll wonder how you ever did without it.
Weaved Paper Strip Accent
The unique weave of the paper strips give it dimension and are fun to arrange the way you like them. For a fun twist, try using patterned and solid vinyl instead of paper for the accents!
You can also change the feel of this card by using different papers making this an all-season card. Another design fantastic option is using Pazzles Fresh Bouquet Digital Paper Pack which can print yourself! This collection, as well as many others, are free to Pazzles Craft Room members.
I hope you enjoy this card creation! Be sure and post pics over on the Pazzles Facebook Page so we can all oooh and ahhh over your own versions – I cannot wait to see them!
Until later!
