DIY Hello Flip Corner Card
This card is an easily adaptable, fun card you can send to a special someone to say hello with a virtual hug from their mailbox. The flipped corner comes from a cut on the front of the card so that the top corner can be flipped and folded out giving this card a special unique shape.
I made it with some super cute fall print paper and coordinated with colors pulled from within the paper design, and you can do the same with any paper you like or think the recipient would enjoy.
Use Any Patterned Paper and Color Schemes for All Seasons
The card would look great if you substitute some of the wonderful Digital Papers from the Pazzles Craft Room, which also has a diverse library of images and sentiments you could swap into place to make this card just the way you or the recipient would like it.
Flat Card Perfect for Mailing
This is a 5 by 7 inch card which fits into the standard envelopes for such cards. It can be resized but the airy component of the larger flower is already very thin so some different choices should probably be made for that portion if downsizing the card.
Make Assembly Even Easier with Print and Cut
This card takes a while to piece all the elements together, but the result is worth it. It could also be made more quickly by utilizing the Print and Cut method on all or a combination of the elements. Embellish with seasonal shapes and Digital Papers found in the Pazzles Craft Room and library or hanging around in your stash.
Supplies:
Cardstock – match to colors in your chosen print paper
2 Dimensional foam stickers – small, approximately ⅛ inch square or diameter
Glue pen
Crafter’s tape
