DIY Thankful Wreath for Autumn Decor!
Autumn just started and I have a wonderful project for you all! I’m always thankful for my family and loved ones. This year there is even more to be grateful for as it’s been a very difficult year. I really wanted to let my family know that I’m truly thankful to have them near.
Beautiful Paper Details
This particular project takes about 1 ½ hours to make. The cutting time and the color blending on the leaves is what makes up the majority of the time. It’s a fairly easy project to make and even more beautiful to look at
This décor is perfect for hanging in your window, on the door, or even on the wall. I was inspired by some of the dried floral wreaths I had seen made, but I have children with allergies, so this was the perfect way to mimic the dried floral effect…Paper! I even mimicked the veins onto my paper leaves.
Add Little Details to Make it Shine
I also added a bit of bling to this project by using a black glitter paper for the Thankful sentiment. Some rhinestones or sequins can be added to give this project a little more shine. Try this project out, make it your own. Change the colors, add a little something more, and share with us on social media.
